Account and Data Deletion: My Yarn Stash

1. Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your My Yarn Stash account and the data associated with it. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or by email if you cannot access the app.

2. Delete inside the app (recommended)

Open the My Yarn Stash app.
Go to Settings.
Open the Account section.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm. Your account and all associated data are then scheduled for permanent deletion.

3. Delete by email

If you can no longer access the app, send an email from the address of your account to yarnstash@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and process it.

4. What data is deleted

Your account and email address.
All entries you created: yarn, patterns, projects, needles, notions and wishlist.
Photos you uploaded.
Knit group memberships and shared items you own.
Push notification tokens and usage data linked to you.

5. What is retained, and for how long

After a deletion request, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, including from backups. We keep only records we are legally required to retain, for example minimal purchase or tax records required by law, and these contain no profile or content data. Nothing is retained for marketing.

2. Löschung in der App (empfohlen)

Öffnen Sie die My Yarn Stash App.
Gehen Sie zu Einstellungen.
Öffnen Sie den Bereich Konto.
Tippen Sie auf Konto löschen.
Bestätigen Sie. Ihr Konto und alle zugehörigen Daten werden danach zur endgültigen Löschung vorgemerkt.

3. Löschung per E-Mail

Falls Sie keinen Zugriff mehr auf die App haben, senden Sie eine E-Mail von der Adresse Ihres Kontos an yarnstash@gmail.com mit dem Betreff "Konto löschen". Wir prüfen die Anfrage und führen sie aus.

4. Welche Daten gelöscht werden

Ihr Konto und Ihre E-Mail-Adresse.
Alle von Ihnen erstellten Einträge: Garn, Anleitungen, Projekte, Nadeln, Zubehör und Wunschliste.
Von Ihnen hochgeladene Fotos.
Strickgruppen-Mitgliedschaften und von Ihnen geteilte Einträge.
Push-Notification-Tokens und mit Ihnen verknüpfte Nutzungsdaten.

5. Was aufbewahrt wird, und wie lange

Nach einer Löschanfrage werden alle personenbezogenen Daten innerhalb von 30 Tagen endgültig entfernt, auch aus Backups. Wir behalten nur gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Aufzeichnungen, zum Beispiel minimale Kauf- oder Steuerunterlagen, die keine Profil- oder Inhaltsdaten enthalten. Für Marketing wird nichts aufbewahrt.
